  1. MEC Toaster Suit sounds amazing. I feel like I just found the perfect winter suit for my kids!!!! So, I googled the brand, found the site, and low and behold they don’t ship to the USA. Has anyone found the MEC suit anywhere in the States? It sounds like the perfect snowsuit for us.

  2. Valerie- I will post this question on our Kid Project facebook page and see what people say. Bummer they don’t ship to the US! I have heard that they are very similar to REI – I wonder if they have a similar product…

    • We did not have this problem with the Columbia Pants. They were lined and easily just as thick as any of the other pants listed. And of course we layered fleece long johns underneath which really helps. Another pant I am testing currently and will no doubt update the post with is the L.L Bean 3-in1 snow pant. Comes with a very thick inner liner (removable) and are super warm!

        • My son is on his second season and we love them. The best ski/snow pants we’ve found! The thick fleece under pant is removable and he wears them as a warm layer for backpacking and camping year-round! They are very warm under the shell pants, which are both durable (so far) and more stylish than many of the simple snow pants we’ve seen. I give both them and the 3-in-1 pant by LLBean a double thumbs up.
