The depressing state of our snowfall…

OBN (Outdoor Blogger Network) asked how the snowfall was in our neck of the woods (Utah) this year. In one word:

de·press·ing/diˈpresiNG/

Adjective:
  1. Causing or resulting in a feeling of miserable dejection

In one photo? The one above.  We got 2 inches of snow one day and the poor kids in the neighborhood scraped every ounce of snow off the lawn to make the most pathetic snowman.  But you’ve got to admire their spirit!

For slightly more scenic photos of January- this was last weekend at Snowbird.  Still not much snow – but enough to hide the brown not far below. And as for the falling snow? Not new stuff – just wind blown.  But at least there was snow to blow around, right?
