Hey friends! It has been a great week for giveaways! How could it not be?
Today I get to introduce you to Ducksday Kid’s Outdoor Gear and their wind/snow/rain suit.
What is a Ducksday rain suit?
In short, it is a lightweight, one piece suit that is water and wind proof…and folds up into a little built-in pouch! It might be a mommy’s best friend when the weather gets rough.
Features:
- Soft and Breathable
- Waterproof zippers
- Reflector tape on the shoulders for better visibility in low light
- Elastic stirrups for holding the pant legs down
- Fun colors and patterns! Ensures I don’t lose my kid on the ski hill :).
- Adjustable cuffs and hood
- Reasonable priced
Why is it a Multi-tasking Must Have?
Do I even have to answer this? This light weight suit layers well over warm clothes for skiing, sledding, or snowshoeing. But also provides comfort and warmth on a windy day biking or a rainy beach walk. My favorite use? A one piece, lightweight, SMALL, layer for backpacking. This suit effectively takes the place of three or more layers we usually tote along.
Giveaway!
Thanks to Ducksday and Ollie and Stella Outfitters for providing this giveaway!
Wow. Lightweight and fun for the kids. Durable and useful for the parents. Its a win-win situation! 🙂
I love the Ducksday rain suits but we don’t get much rain here in New Mexico. The fleece would be perfect for fall days.
Have been wanting one of these. Our son just outgrew his last rain suit and the rain pants just don’t always cut it. It’s nice to have something that can be used in both rain or snow with layers.
This would be great for one or both of my kiddos.
We’re in need of a new rain suit. The 4 year old is busting out of last year’s and spring puddles are calling his name.
Here in AK we would definitely get use out of the snow suit. I love the Ducksday suits and the prints are adorable.
We bike everywhere with a 4 year old and 2 year old. They are squirmy little guys! It’d be nice to have a one piece suit to keep them cozy. We always say: there’s no bad weather, just improper clothing.
A rain jacket and pants would suit my little gal best and then she can pass her suit on to her little brother.
Love the fleece and rain suits! They seem perfectly suited for all-weather play!
I’ve had my eye on these for a while, but I’m not sure I can justify the expense. Winning one would solve that problem!! 🙂
we love puddles… the one piece rain suits would make sure my little ones stay dry and warm t/o the fun 🙂
I’ve been dreaming about the Ducksday rain suits! So cute but yet so practical.
I would say the rain suit. We could use it in the winter and spring.
Those mittens look perfect for spring in Alaska or winter with warmers inside.
I do Love the mittens! Definitely need Warner’s for Alaska though. They are light weight for Utah I think.
I love the rainsuit!
My daughter would love the Ducksday Jacket (Funky Red). Great for everyday wear.
I love the cool funky patterns they have! I really like the Ducksday jackets, especially the Scott one!
The rainsuit would be awesome!
Would love the rainsuit! What a perfect piece of gear for a little one just learning to crawl – in snow, puddles, mud, etc.
That one-piece rainsuit would make getting dressed at preschool and on the ski slopes so much easier! And they’re cute, too!
The rainsuit would be best, hands down. No water or snow up the back of a coat. It’s like having your kid in a ziplock bag! 🙂
So in love with this idea!
The flannel suit is great, but I like the rain suit the best.
My little man would test out every inch of the one piece rain suit in our puddles and the great prints would surely help me spot him the trees.

I’m in need of a good breathable rain suit.
With two active kids, I’m always looking for a great rain soultion
Big Star rain suit and the Lime fleece!
I love the gloves they make. The only thing better than them would be to make a winter coat with mittens that are built right in but I’d guess that would add an extra challenge to helping a child get their coat on each time.
The rain suits are my favorite, perfect for bike rides!
We could definitely use a rain suit for the kids here in the Pacific Northwest! Pretty much can’t go backpacking without one!
living in Maine, winter is too long.. and cold. my grandsons would enjoy the added benefit of Ducksday fleece under their clothing to keep them warm…
That Ducksday rainsuit would be great for my little guy as we explore the outdoors.
the rain suit would be great. I also like that you can get separates – jacket/pants so that it’s a bit more versatile.
